If you need to print directly from modelspace, just scale your title block to the desired plotting scale to make it fit around the objects. that way the dimensions remain the same.

To control to text size you set the dimscale variable to the plotting scale.

I tried this solution but it still does not work. Incidentally this problem occurs mainly with continued dimensions. Also, we work with metric dimensions here.

Plotting from Paperspace

When I try to plot from a paperspace layout, a part of the Model space viewport does not plot (the objects seem to be trimmed at some invisible line) esp. in the top of the view.

Also some attribute text is mising in the plot.

The plot preview shows these both correctly.

Implementation of TTF Fonts in ICAD also does not seem to be perfect. The insertion point and the justification gets all haywire if a drawing made in autocad is opened in ICAD. There seems to be no way to correct this except to convert to an shx font in the style.

Dimensioning issues

I have noticed a peculiar problem with vertical dimensions in ICAD using ticks instead of arrows. When a file is saved and reopened later, the direction of the right tick gets mirrorred. this can only then be rectified by editing the dimension and regenerating (even this does not work all the time)....

This is common for all verisons of windows. My solution is to minimise and then maximise the window. This releases the mouse wheel from the toolbar, as well as makes the "esc" and "enter" keys work again. <BLOCKQUOTE><font size="1" face="Verdana, Arial">quote:...

I ised t tget the same problem with AutoCAD 2002 also. This is mainly with .shx fonts. Truetype fonts plot ok.

I think I have found the solution.

For win 2000 and WP you have to install after logging as administrator, and for Win98 one needs to reinstall for every user and placing the program files in the same folder.

It's not really the same. AutoCAD's named plot styles are able to screen the colors for individual objects and layers, so that a color can be plotted in various shades in the same drawing. This also effectively gives a possibility of 100 tones for each color, or 25600 colors in all. This is very use...

Line width for plotting

Can the line width in Intelicad be set in millimetres instead of inches? We here in India work almost exclusively in mm. so it is important that we are able to set our plots quickly. Converting mm to inches for each plot with different settings is cumbersome. Also, is there a workaround for the unsu...

I also get the same problem in Win 2K Pro as well as win98_SE. The problem is not of rights, as even users with administrator priviledges are not able to run the application. Win98 does not have an issue as all users get the same privileges. I am told CADIAN has provided a patch to its users that ov...

Installation Issues

I am facing a problem installing ICAD on the computers in our office. We use both windows 98 and Windows 2000 on our computers, with diffeent users logging in to the machines at different times with custom settings. ICAD runs only with the login it was installed under in windows 98, and the computer...
