John, this did seem to work, at first, but unfortunitly i have discovered other disadvantages. After the fourth selection the command seems to end and other commands stop working properly. Sometimes the button then assumes the command of the comand used after it stopped working ... if that makes any...

John, Thanks for your assistance but I do have two very different PC's replicating the same bug. Your previous comment about getting the commands to redraw after use maybe helpful but I am unsure of exactly what to type in the command window for the copy button. Could you help me out with a cut and ...

To answer the above questions, I do need SNAP on all the time as I am an electrical systems designer and all my electrical drawings are drawn to a 5mm grid. Its true that the graphics card on my work PC is not a high spec but I have also used IntelliCAD on my Dell system at home which is equipped wi...

IntelliCAD V6.3 is now out and I have just downloaded the free demo version just to discover this original bug still exists. I will not be upgrading this time. I have since discovered that the old problem of screen ghosting or the leaving of debris behind after a MOVE, STRETCH or COPY comands seems ...

That maybe so but upgrading means upgrading and not downgrading. This used to be an issue with a really old version of AutoCAD but they solved it and it never returned. So why is IntelliCAD V6.2 having such a problem when V6.1 hardly suffered from it? Thanks for your input tspco but as far as Intell...

MOVE, STRETCH and COPY GHOSTING

I have upgraded from 6.1 to 6.2 PE+ but the old problem of screen ghosting or the leaving of debris behind after a MOVE, STRETCH or COPY comand seems to have come back to haunt me. I am almost having to do a refresh after every command just to keep the screen clean. I hope a patch will soon be issue...

I have also been creating fully dimensioned views of the 3D solid model in paperspace using different layers depending on the view and what details are required in each view. The 3D model has been very successful but each paperspace view still requires a hide lines print option to complete its 3D fu...

This is a big problem for IntelliCAD as for me this could finish me using the software. The drawings are useless for manufacturing too, if printed in wireframe! This is limiting IntelliCAD to the hobby enthusiasts market when, with a little improvement, it could be used by manufacturing design engin...

PE+ ACIS Real Time Sphere

If an object is drawn in IntelliCAD PE+ as a 3D ACIS object it can be rotated about its centre using the Real Time Sphere command (RTROT). If the same object is then copied and the copied object is placed some distance from the original object the Real Time Sphere command (RTROT) rotates both object...

Dialog Box wont show

When I use either BLOCK or WBLOCK commands the dialog box does not show and everything is typed on the command line. The setvar command CMDDIA = 1 = On and other commands show dialog boxes. Any help?

I now know the answer to this one. If you change your view of IntelliCAD from full screen to a window you will notice the default installation window size is small. IntelliCAD, when starting, restructures its toolbar layout to fit the window size. Now the answer is simple. Just resize the window to ...

Have since found that although it still lists a location under the XREF Manager it does not use it. The XREF does behave as if no path has been saved but the default support path is searched first then the local folder is searched (opposite search path sequence to AutoCAD).

This is interesting ... looks like 2 years ago the XREF path problem existed and is still a problem .... does CMS ever read there own forum?

XREF's with no saved path

In AutoCAD if you insert an XREF but don't save the path then when reloading the drawing AutoCAD will first search the local folder (of the current drawing) for the XREF and then search the default XREF location. In IntelliCAD it seems to search the default XREF location first and if it can not find...
