Thanks, I was using copy and past from the menu but wasn't paying any attention to the information/instructions on the command line. If I select the base point etc. it works fine. There are numerous critisisms of intellicad here. I downloaded a couple demo versions from a couple sites and (with a competitors version) did have the program freeze when I did an undo command. I have been using autocad LT 2000 and skipped a couple upgrades (after many years of paying for upgrades)...
