printing to PDF troubles.

#1
I've suddenly had trouble using the Microsoft Print to PDF.pc3 printer with Intellicad. Worked well several weeks ago. Started getting an error message couple days ago & tried to figure it out. Seems now that I've probably corrupted my Microsoft Print to PDF.pc3 file. Is there any way to restore it without doing a complete reinstall?

Assuming you are on win 11/Icad12.0

goto installed apps,
scroll down to CMS Intellicad 12.0,
select the 3 dots on the right (...)
then select 'more'
then 'repair' and follow the prompts

PDF Out Serious Bug

Even the annotation visibility is on, when you use the PDF out to convert from cad to pdf, the output does not show the objects that are annotated scale. Its like the annotation visibility is off although its on. This is a serious bug as when you are converting your cad files to pdf and ready to submit you do not realize that there are some objects missing.
Although, if you use the regular print to convert, it is fine and also the pdf conversion from regular print.

Whoever is in charge, please make a fix immediately. This is a serious bug or error.
I am using the Intellicad PE plus 11.1 perpetual.

It sounds like you're dealing with a frustrating issue! Since you've already performed a repair, I recommend trying a few additional steps. First, remove the Microsoft Print to PDF printer from your devices and then add it back. This can sometimes resolve configuration issues. Also, clear your print spooler by stopping the service and deleting its contents from the spool folder. Double-check the printer settings in IntelliCAD to ensure they’re correct. If the problem persists, testingbasketball stars with another application could help pinpoint the issue further.

You can usually fix this without a full reinstall—just delete the corrupted Microsoft Print to PDF.pc3 file from IntelliCAD’s plotter folder, and the program will recreate a clean default version the next time you launch it. If that doesn’t work, you can also reinstall the “Microsoft Print to PDF” printer in Windows by going to Settings > Bluetooth & Devices > Printers & Scanners, removing it, then adding it again. This usually restores the .pc3 file and gets PDF printing working normally again.

Thanks Steve.

Performed the repair.

It's now back to another problem I've seen before. As soon as I press Print, I now get an error message (red circle with White X) "The Parameter is Incorrect."
If you suspect .pc3 file is corrupted/missing, have you tried to delete the current Microsoft Print to PDF.pc3 file from the IntelliCAD plotters folder? If the Windows feature is properly reinstalled, IntelliCAD should automatically generate a new, clean .pc3 file the next time a plot dialog is opened.
