I am looking to alter the intellicad paths/files settings and the menu / toolbars in an install program but cant find a file that the current settings are stored in, can anyone please help me with some information on doing this.

I believe the menu is stored in the registry.
You can make add on menus and store them anywhere you like.

I assume you are looking for a way to set up multiple work stations with the same configuration.

Those settings are stored in the registry. I don't know of any official or IntelliCAD "supported" way to do this, but here is a hack to get it done.

First a disclaimer: “Don't try this at home” unless you are a computer expert, accept full responsibility for what you are going to do, and know how to recover from destroying the windows registry.

Set up a machine with all the settings you want.

Use RegEdit to export the branch:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\CMS\IntelliCAD 5.1 PE
call it something like Icad51config.reg

Then execute (double click) that file on the machine to receive the settings.
