I'm trying to use a dictionary object using Icad 6 PE+, ver 6.0.12.1. Following the general pattern from Autocad, I tried:

Dim count As Long

count =IntelliCAD.ActiveDocument.Dictionaries.count
------------

When I try to run this, I get run time errro 445, object doesn't support this action.

Likewise, if I try to add a dictionary with

-----------
Dim Doc As IntelliCAD.Document
Set Doc = IntelliCAD.ActiveDocument


(other stuff)

Dim Dic As Dictionary
Set Dic = Doc.Dictionaries.Add("test_dict")
------------

I get the same error. Any ideas where I am going wrong here?

Looks like a problem in Dictionaries Object as I keep getting errors as well.

Ah-ha. Thanks for checking into it, I think I can get around it by using object xdata tied to a layer. Not quite as clean a solution, but it will work. Hopefully this will get better in the next upgrade/release.
