I have lots of old Word documents that have embedded AutoCAD documents in them. With AutoCAD installed, I could just double-click on the object, AutoCAD would open. I could then edit, save, and close, and the object would be updated.
With AutoCAD now gone, and IntelliCAD in its place, this doesn't work. Something in the system (Windows, Word, ???) can't find AutoCAD, and so gives me an error.
I'd like to find out if anyone has a fix so that IntelliCAD will open the object instead; after all, it can open AutoCAD *.dwg files. I'm wondering if a Registry tweak would do it. Any ideas on how to solve this problem?

We no longer have AutoCAD available at all, so I can't just open the objects with that and save out to a dwg file.
