Can't deselect by clicking

#1
Ever since I installed my current version (quite some time ago... but I am finally fed up and trying to find a solution), I can select entities by clicking on them as always. However clicking on them again will not "de-select" them. This was not the case in my previous version.

Any clue where this "feature" is reactivated?

TIA,

Larry

Thanks for your response, JCAMPOS.

I cannot deselect an entity after I have selected it. In my previous version(s), and according to the manual, you deselect it by clicking on it again. That does not work. The only way I can deselect it is to "deselect all" by hitting the ESC key. So if I select several items and realize that one of them should not be selected, I have to hit ESC and start completely over again.

I am using version 6.0.12.1. My previous version worked as they are supposed to by clicking once to select and clicking again to deselect. (I just tried using SHIFT-CLICK and that did nothing.

Any ideas?

Thanks

The HELP screens on "deselecting entities" says the following:

"You remove an individual entity from the selection set by selecting it again. To remove all the entities from the selection set, press Escape."

This just does not work on my computer.

Hi Larry,

The help of CMS IntelliCAD 6.6 says the following on "Deselecting entities":
To remove an entity from the selection set
1. Press Shift, and then select the entity again.

NOTE Pressing Shift while selecting entities using a crossing window removes all entities from the specified selection set.
I managed to successfully remove entities from the selection set on CMS IntelliCAD 6.6. Version 6.0 is too old and I just don't have it here to try, so I cannot speak of anything related with that version.
