I work in metric. I am confused as to setup for metric units. AAny help would be apprecited

Hi Richard,
I took work in Metric. Icad works pretty much the same as Acad in this rspect. Find the drawing icad.dwg and open it. Type DDUNITS and set it to decimal and display precision to 4 (I find this is enough decimal places for me).
Then save the drawing. Go to File-> New and when your new drawing opens, it will be set up for use in metric.
Generally speaking, 1 unit in Icad/Acad = 1mm , so if you draw something 10000 in length it is 10metres. When printing, select the scale you want to print at, 1:20, 1:50, 1:100, 1:200 would be normal scales.
The one thing to remember is that it is always best to draw full size. This, whilst not being an official standard, is what most people do.
