How can I set the drawing limits to accomodate the drawing unit 1 mm = 1 drawing unit?

Type Units on the command line or select Settings --> Drawing Settings from the menu.
Select Decimal units for both linear and angles.
The number of decimal places depends on the type of work, for architectural work use 0 because most construction uses + or - 1mm
