I realize that %%c does not make the symbol of diameter, but the symbol ?
To write that symbol is necesary tu type %%248 or %%216
Does anyone know why and how to solve the problem?

Another question:
Are there utilities similar to chtext.lsp and filter.lsp for Intellicad?

When using True type fonts they have their own calling code called ASCII (American Standard Code for Information Interchange). This code is used by programs to exchange text.

Standard or Lower ASCII code numbers range from 0 to 127 and call the control codes and standard keyboard characters.

Extended ASCII code numbers range from 128 up and produce the special characters such as diameter.

ASCII is used in all word processing packages that supports raster characters whereas CAD uses a compiled vector font *.shx for effeciency. This is why the %%c produces diameter in *.shx fonts providing the font has been created in accordance with CAD standards.
