curser leaving trails

Hey

Having problems with my curser leaving trails and this is not because of the mouse settings.. can anyone help????

Sounds like a graphics card problemn, try setting your graphics card to standard vga or svga and see if it stops.

Definately sounds like the video card. Try changing you video card settings that should do the trick.

thanks for the reply.. i'm not really to sure what I'm doing in that regard. I have diamond monster fusion AGP for windows 98 if this helps to lead mew in the right direction???

I used to have this problem with my old card and Icad. Try reducing hardware acceleration (from Windows display properties>Advanced tab). Positon 2 from left did the trick for me.

Do you know how to go into the properties of the video card to change the settings ? Go to the control panel. double click on Display. Then click on the settings tab. Then click on the advanced button at the bottom. Then click on performance tab. In there the should have the hardware acceleration. Try moving it around until you don't have this problem. If you still have the problem. Post that you still have a problem and we can try to troubleshoot it somemore.
