Intellicad CMS 6.3 takes forever to save... well, not forever, but a 2MB dwg takes more than 1 minute to save, pentium dual core, XP, dwg2007 - the same dwg, same computer, saving in Icad98 (dwg14), takes less than five seconds... in acad12, still in use here, less than 1 second...
I know, I should upgrade, and everything will be fine... but I would prefer not to pay just to correct a bug, and does 6.6 really solve this problem ?
And also, main reason, I dont like the acad style interface from teh new version, I like the way Icad looks since 98, I am used to it...
So the question is, is there a way to "teach" Icad6.3 to save faster ?

Download the 6.6 and try it for yourself to see if it really solve your problem. By the way, with 6.6 you will not pay only just to correct a bug (if it really exists). You will pay for a new release with many improvements as well as new features. Also, 6.6 includes an application that allows you to convert DWG and DXF files from one version to another, including the 2010-2011 file version. Give it a try!
