microstation .dgn files

While scanning the net I found this:-

The ODA have recently announced amalgamation of .dwg and .dgn SDKs.
Since: The ITC and ODA have both worked closely together since their inception in the late 1990s
Does the mean (can we expect) that Intellicad will be able to open DGN files as it does with DWG's ?................PLEASE
