Looking at IntelliCAD for a environment that uses dgn format files. So far IntelliCAD opens and renders the dgn pretty darn good. A couple questions though:

1. Will dgn reference files be supported in the future? Currently when opening a dgn file with dgn reference files, IntelliCAD looks for the reference file name with a .dwg extension and threfore does not find the reference file.

2. Will IntelliCAD be able to save changes to dgn file in native dgn format?

Does it have an option of "save as ...dgn" or "export as .dgn" or "import as .dgn" ?

Yes, CMS IntelliCAD does currently have an option to export as DGN. Use EXPORT command and then select the .dgn file format.
