.icm file loading issue

I have a customer who is currently using V8.3 PE+ and he runs a special macro menu which he has been using for years. It loaded into V8.3 and runs fine in that version.
Now he needs to upgrade to V9.2 PE+ and is trialling the program and finds that the .icm menu file will not load. When he uses the menuload command nothing happens?
Can you advise what may be the issue and what he needs to do to make it compatible.
