Ho to stop appearing "Press Ok to cancel long COM request" dialog

Hi, I have implemented a custom command (using the .net api) which takes long time to execute. The user is updated on the progress in a separate pop up window. Sometimes IntelliCAD shows a pop up during the execution with the message "Press Ok to cancel long COM request". How can I stop this happening?
