Delete imprinted entity on a solid body?

Hi,
does anyone know if we can delete an imprinted entity on a face of a solid body?
In Autocad I used to press Cntl /select and then delete but it doesn't work in CMS.
I wonder if it requires a .lsp ? I can draw a polyline and extrude it then subtract it,
then union a copy of the "patch" but it's a lengthy workaround.
Thanks much!

can you not create a cuboid to cover/overlap the imprinted area and the add that via union??

Then I would end up with a void, that's why I have to subtract a rectangle and then fill it back in.

Forgive my ignorance, but how does combining 2 solids via union create a void?

Hi Ramon,

Try to use the option "Body"->"Clean" of the SolidEdit command.
