Hi. I'm trying to make a usb dongle for my version 10.1.
When I go to Store Profile-Downloads there is nothing available, its blank.
I have a standalone licence and have tried to deactivate it but still blank at download.
I lost one of my activations when I got a BSOD loop and had to reload windows. There was no chance to deactivate.
Trying to use a dongle on a laptop when away from the office.
Any help appreciated

Hi,

Since the release of version 11.0, all other versions have been withdrawn from the downloads.

As for making a dongle, I thought that was only available for version 11.0 onwards?
Try contacting support and see what they have to say.

The download I refer to is the download of the dongle maker not the full version of the software. This is in the instructions for creating the dongle. Store Profile-Downloads.

I looked here > https://www.intellicadms.com/store/disks

And the only dongle maker is for version 11.0!!

You could try that?

The dongle maker is only for version 11. Throws up an error when I tried to use it.
Looks like I will have to upgrade to 11 even though I only upgraded to 10.1 on 23rd July this year!!!!
Seems to be a very short support peroid between versions. I've sent a request to info@intellicadms.com for info/solution.

Just for other people with maybe the same situation, here is the reply from info@intellicadms.com:

Hello
USB Dongle Maker for v10.1 is no longer available as CMS IntelliCAD 10.1 is no longer available at well. They're both outdated.
USB Dongle Maker is only available for the currently supported CMS IntelliCAD 11.0 PE PLUS version.
Let us know if you need any extra assistance.

Hi,

The only option I can come up with is to release the license on the office PC when you need to use the laptop and the reverse when back to the office.

You could contact support for the lost license due to the BSOD, but they will probably say the same as here > viewtopic.php?t=1519&sid=fd3de50d19db93 ... 30097ef8c7. A new license may be cheaper in the long run!
