Is it possible Snap is on? - F9 toggles it on/off. On, the cursor moves around the screen freely until a commnd is issued such as one of yours mentioned, then it jumps to the nearest snap point (not to be confused with Object Snap).

Hello Calinj,
Sometimes this happens. Icad keeps a point and severely insists in using this point. This is somehow related to flyover snapping and transparent comands (zoom, pan,..) The only way to make Icad forget is to use this point in a not transparent comand. Draw a line and erase it.
Just check out this:
Draw a line, draw a second line. When flyover snapping highlights a point (for example endpoint), do not click left button but use ctrl+shift+mouse-botton (dynamic zoom). From this moment on, icad will stick to the point.
Try to avoid using transparent comands while a snap point is highlighted.

Unforunately Icad6 continues with this problem. I hoped this new version would have resolved this ugly problem.
Well, I will have to wait for Icad7.

The BricsCAD 6 demo does not seem to have this issue. Maybe CMS does not have the latest update for version 6?

More likely it is in the source code and Bricscad has fixed it.
