Dialog Box wont show

When I use either BLOCK or WBLOCK commands the dialog box does not show and everything is typed on the command line. The setvar command CMDDIA = 1 = On and other commands show dialog boxes. Any help?

There is a dialog box interface for the "block" command????? both "filedia" and "cmddia" are on (1). I get a dialog box for "wblock". Would really like a dialog box for "block".
Or am i simply misunderstanding the issue?

There is no dialog box available for the "block" command.
However there is a dialog box for the "insert" command. "ddinsert"
