Does anyone know something about the long due new release?

This forum is alive as we make it.
I am constantly watching this forum for new postings so that I can reply to them as I see fit.
As far as the new release is concerned it shouldn't be too much longer.
Too many releases too close can only spell trouble, so if the new release takes a little longer than expected, know that it means there will be less bugs to deal with in the end. I am sure that the IntelliCAD source code has been in a "code freeze" for a few weeks now and taking out those last minute bugs is what is on the agenda now. So please be patient, and bear with us.

I to have been long awaiting the new release. We were originally told that it would be out a few weeks ago but then there were some last minute glitches that had to fixed and that is why it has been delayed. I will post an Update announcement the minute I hear that is available.

I downloaded the upgrade on Friday 2001.05.04. The new version is ver 2.2.00025.
It fixed approx 15 problems including the UNDO command problem. Unfortunately it still contains some unresolved issues. Obviously no one at Bricsnet is paying any attention to the forums. Diameter symbol still does not work which is beyond me because that should have been a simple programming correction. BY the way, if you don't mind your drawings not being 100% ACAD compatible; Intellicad is 100% MS Windows based. You can use the keystroke ALT+ 0216 for the diameter symbol. Personally I prefer to use the Windows character map keystokes as you have more flexibility such as trademark and registered symbols.
