Boundary and Region Commands

I have IntelliCAD 6.2 PE+. If I draw some lines that form a closed shape such as four lines for a box and try to use the Boundary command, nothing happens when I click inside the box after clicking on "Select Area >" button and the "OK" button is grayed out. The Region command works. Any suggestions?
