VS2005 seems to work just fine so far!

Delphi 7 works pretty well too, if you like Pascal.

Hi Rick,
I guess SDS is not compiler specific. I wonder when DRX comes out if it will require a specific compiler as ARX does. I have never used Pascal so I wouldn¡¯t no where to start :|

Daniel,

It will depend what DRX is based on. If it directly exposes the Intellicad C++ classes, then yes, it will probably require a specific compiler (I'm guessing VC++).

I was able to write an ARX dll in Delphi up to AutoCAD 14, but enough changed in AutoCAD 2000 and later with the C++ classes that using the Delphi compiler was no longer possible.

I was able to compile an SDS dll with Delphi that runs in CMS Intellicad 5.1 successfully.
