Hi Juan,

so we have the same problem, mine happening with multiple 'tabs' open & you with multiple instances of Icad open.

In my case I generally get a warning of an issue when a change does not appear in the assembly drawing.
Usually on the back plate.
My assemblies are of pneumatic controls mounted on a back plate. The same back plate is common to multiple valve control panels, hence the use of Xref
I update/modify the back plate, then update each assembly. When the change is NOT displayed I know there is an issue.
NO matter how many times I save the drawing the assembly will not update.
I have found that the only way to move forward is to close Icad fully and then start again. Even then sometimes the file will not save changes.
Rince and recycle until the changes are saved.

So, your problem is worse, Steve. I certainly don't need, thus far, to resort to more complicated operations than creating solids by extruding polylines and unioning or substracting them; very simple straight prisms operations —it's about defining the geometrical shape of a building structure of reinforced concrete, where almost every shape is said straight prism, a lot of them, though.

Hi Juan,

NO, I wouldn't say my work is more complicated.
The backplate is just a flat sheet of steel 3mm thick. The mounting holes/slots are just cylinders which are removed from the plate via Subtract.
The backplate itself is a closed plolyline Extruded
The tubework is just circles Extruded along a path (inner wall subtracted from outer wall)
Components are from manufacturers websites downloaded or sent via email request
